can anyone tell me what is the best way to use minoxidil and couvre so that the minoxidil is still effective?

I've been using minoxidil and couvre for 10 years now. In the morning I put the minoxidil on, wait 15 minutes then apply Couvre to the entire head. At night, I just spray over the Couvre. Hopefully it absorbs through the Couvre. I have no choice as a pain to wash out the Couvre prior to bed. The Couvre does mess up your pillow when you do this, however.
