hey guys,

I had a question regarding minoxidil. I have been applying 5% at night for the past two weeks and I have had a slight headache every since as well as some pressure behind my eyes since I began.

Is this just temporary when starting this treatment?

Also, would alternating 2% and 5% be a good move to reduce side effects without forgoing minoxidils effectiveness?

Thank you and I appreciate any advice. Just as a quick background I am 25 just started noticing thinning on the crown and hairline recession a few months ago and I am trying to be proactive in the fight.

I think sticking with 2% only would be a good idea if 5% is too strong for you. Plus you won't need to deal with the hassle of alternating between the two, keeping it simple. Using 2% Minoxidil is still plenty effective.

Thank you, I will definitely try the 2% then if the headaches don't subside.
