If I'm using both Minoxidil and Tricomin, should I cut minoxidil to 1x a day or stick with it 2x a day?

I have always used minoxidil only once a day. It seems like lately the results are really kicking in. I think my hairline looks much better now than it did about 2 years ago upon starting treatment.

So i started tricomin also to really give the boost to those new little hairs i can see sprouting. I am using it twice a day. I usually apply it in the morning or mid afternoon and then again at night allowing it to dry 10-15 minutes then applying mixnodil. Its pretty easy if you go off and do other stuff while it dries.

I am considering CP's myself when my spironolactone cream runs out (no improvement from it). What is the best brand for the money. Also, what is the consensus on when to apply it (before/after minoxidil)? Thanks.

Philip, that's great news to hear. I'm also using minoxidil 1x a day. I just cant tolerate it twice a day.

i don't like minoxidil either. i don't mind it if I know there is no chance of a woman putting her hands in my hair (not that any every has). But twice a day sure seems to look up all my time.

Once a day sounds better, but I'm thinking 5% when it won't be touched, and 2% which dries faster at other times. Or just leave it on for only an hour once a day and 4 hours the other time.

I'll figure out a good regimen eventually. Comfort of life, and price, and strength are all important.

I only do because i am following my doctors directions. If i am getting results at this low of a dosage im really hoping i wont have that bad of a balding problem.

I think the main reason i fret about having such a good hairline is because my hairstyle. Its the messy spiked style so a good thick/straight front line is essential for it to look good. I actually get complements on my style so apparently it works i guess.
