Minocycline causing hair loss?

I have been using the antibiotic minocycline for over 9 months to treat acne and have had rather rapid loss. I was just wondering if it is known to do so at all. And If I stop using it will it grow back. I am only 21.

I did hear one other guy claim it.

Personally I don't think it can. I've used it briefly, a long with other antibiotics for hairloss.

It's just coincidental in my opinion. I can't see any scientific reason for it doing so. It kills bacteria, having no effect on your hair.
