Minioxidil Dependency Wearing Off

Hello,

I was using minoxidil (Kirkland 5% liquid) from May 2008 to Dec 2011 and it worked excellently.

I noticed slight recession at the temples and it appeared the 'new' hairs had disappeared so I changed to the foam. I have not seen any dramatic decrease or any improvement since changing to the foam. I'm a realist and know that the minoxidil has plateaued.......

My Question
Has anyone experienced a positive experience after having a 1 week / 1 month (or whatever time span) break from Minoxidil? I realise the head (or whatever) becomes sensitive to it but just wondered if anyone had any decent results from taking a break from it for a while.

USER OF THE BIG 3!

I wonder, how someone can come up with such a silly idea at all. But you are not the first one.

The longer breaks you will do, the bigger loss you experience. The key to success is consistency!

Furthermore, I don't understand, how someone using finasteride, Nizoral and minoxidil can experience new hair loss after mere 3 years. If you didn't do crazy experiments with your treatment (as many individuals do), I would say that you are not just the best responder, because I would expect something like this in less than 5% of users. Are you sure that you are consistent in minoxidil use? After many experiences in the internet, I have high suspicion that you weren't.
