Hi All,

is it possible to slowly (over a period of weeks and months) ramp up the area which minoxidil is applied?

The theory behind this being, to reduce chance of a large area of shedding all at one time.
The trade off being having to tolerate the shedding period over a longer period of time, BUT only having small areas at one time being in the shedding phase?

e.g. month 1: apply minoxidil only on the very front of the temples.
month 2: start also applying the minoxidil another cm back.
month 3: also apply a further cm back
and so on, and so on, until you reach you desired coverage area of minoxidil.

Is this a thing or am I just thinking crazy stuff?

Thanks fellas

Yes, maybe a good idea, but as i know minoxidil "diffuses" to surroundings areas, does not act strictly where you apply it.
and some of it is absorbed via bloodtsream, and goes practically everywhere.
Some people go that far to say that the effect is caused only by the portion absorbed via bloodstream.
