I am on month 3 of minoxidil, month 3 of dutasteride and month 15 of finasteride. Ive only gotten worse so far. If it gets worse in the next maybe 3 months, i might try oral minoxidil i heard if you dont respond to topical, oral may be alot better. So does anyone think 3 months isn't sh*t and 6 months might not be sh*t either and ride it out. Or should i hop on oral minoxidil? Thank you in advance!

you take finasteride + duta at the same time with no effect ? maybe your just not responsive to anti-androgen

I maintained on finasteride but my ocd got the better of me and made me hop on dutasteride. But since hopping on dutasteride and starting minoxidil it got worse.

i read a lot of posts were guys reported stronger side effects with 0.5 duta every other day than propecia 1mg once a day...

So if you are telling me you are taking 1 mg fina + 0.5 mg duta, both every day for 15 months (fina) with no positive results at all ; i wonder how oral minoxidil could change things...

as i said maybe anti-androgen is not the best way for you ? you could ask a professional (i am nowhere close to that)

Thats what im hoping. I'm strongly caertain i maintained on finasteride. But being on dutasteride and minoxidil made things worse my hairline receded a bit more. I believe i did well on finasteride becase I used to have very curly whisker hair on the sides and on my nape and it straightened out but its a bit thin. I think guys with whisker hair just have to fight harder against male pattern baldness. But in the very worse of situations oral spironolactone could help. Alot of non responders get good results. But i just hate seeing how things got worse in just a 3 month span.

let another 3 months pass to get to the 6 month mark man. if things still get worst than just go back to 1mg fina every day (since you maintained on this regimen)

Thats true, thank you for your advice. Maintaining is all i want. So at the very least with any of these options its possible. I'll ride this out. Thank you
