been on propecia for 10 months and not much progress.

propecia is best at maintaining your hair count if you want to regrow your best bet is minoxidil, you can buy kirklands minoxidil rather cheap, if you had a reaction to that in the past or are worried about it later on you can go to

Also, nizoral dried out my scalp, I think Tsal/gel is better for scalp condition. Either way shampoo alone wont give you regrowth it just improves your scalp enviroment so other regrowth treatments can work better.

it has thinned a bit, especially in front middle since i started treatment

False statement there. The study that showed that Nizoral had similar regrowth potential to that of Minoxidil 2% was done on Nizoral 2% not the 1%. No tests have ever been done on the 1% kind, people have just led themselves to the conclusion 1% will help with hair loss. If you can get your hands on it you are much better off with Nizoral 2% than you are with the 1%, but the 1% would be better than nothing at all.
