Mature Hairline Or Male Pattern Baldness

Hello. I had a question for the experts out there, and let me know what you guys think. Im 33 Years Old.

I've always had medium to long hair and for the last few years Ive noticed whispy hairs around my temple area that I kinda have to do some comb over action to reduce the thinning. I never really paid attention to it much until I recently shaved my head. I do now notice a huge recession in my temple areas and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I already have a somewhat lower libido but I've been thinking of getting on propecia but I'm afraid it might make matters worse. I have a appointment to see a derm later this month. Should I get on propecia ASAP, or is this just a mature hairline I shouldn't have worry about? Any insight will be appreciated!

My Dad has a full head of hair.
My Grandpa on my mom side has a full head of hair
My 2 uncles on my mom side are completely bald.

This is male pattern baldness. Most men (me included) do not suffer from lower libido on Propecia. There are many things you can look into to support male libido/hormone optimization while taking Finasteride.

Thanks for the reply. So you would suggest I get on Finastride asap? Im not too worried about side effects and if I get bad sides I'll just stop. Will Finastride allow me to grow hair back in the temple region? Or just keep what I have now? I'd be happy with both
