Me : hair type fine hair not like my mums side but my dads side.
Age: 20
Gender: Pakistani male
Norwood 1 at 15- 16. Always had high hair line temples have gone back
male pattern baldness History:
Father: no bald, hairline is high and has fine type hair
Paternal´s Grandfather: no bald
Farther brothers: no hairloss at all
Mother: no male pattern baldness
Maternal Grandfather: went bald not sure what age.
Moms brothers:
first uncle: Norwood 2 50 no balding has thick corse hair
Second uncle, norwood 2 with thinning at top at 40. Thick coarse hair so normal hairloss for his age
Third uncle: bald at a young age id say 28
Fourth uncle bald at 40 and had thick hair
3 people have male pattern baldness on my mums sides. Any one tried hair dx to see if they have the gene ? I might try it to give me a rough idea at where im at hairwise.
Plenty of online doctors on the realself said my hairline was a mature hairline and but i went to a general gp and he said it has gone back abit but most hair loss specialist say online that mine is fine and it is just a maturing hairline. Can you guys please give your honest opinion. This is an update becuase of my inscurites i have went to hair clinic who are well known they called estee world and i got my hair checked out and he said i have nothing to worry about. I told him about my concerns about the little hairs(minturlisation) by the right and left side and he said it will receed and then stop as it does not look beyond the actual hairline. I would just like more opinions, what norwood class am i ? And which side is more receeded ?
3 people have male pattern baldness on my mums sides. This is an update, i went to a hair transplation surgeon who looked at mu hairline and i told him my worries. He look at my hairline properly and said i am absolutely fine and that men receeded and get a mature hairline. I also mentioned the little hairs on the left side of my temple/ hairline as i think that the little hairs that are left will go and stay and he agreed with me. I am going to go back in a few months time back to him.
