Massage scar before scar revision?

I am going in to have my final hair transplant (950 grafts) and a scar revision on tuesday. I hear that if you message the scar it will allow the skin to be more elastic.. Anyone else hear anything like this? Thanks.

Have never heard of it. Laxity usually comes back with time and it is normally a result of the entire scalp surface stretching on its own. For most patients the scalp feels tight right after a strip procedure however usually after about six months the tightness goes away due to the scalp stretching back.
