Hello, I'm new to this site, I'm a 21 year old african american guy, and I've noticed that some of my hair has been thinning recently. I first noticed in May that I had thinning patch of hair behind my right ear thatt hasn't really gone away since. This makes me think I've got Telogen effluvium, but then over the last week (literally like 5 days) I noticed my hairline receding really quickly! My hair is thining in the front and I'ts getting harder and harder to style it the way I usually do, which was perfectly doable a week or two ago. So I ask Is it really possible for male pattern baldness to occur this quickly and suddenly, or am I dealing with Telogen Effluvium?
