My bedroom - Its never the same again. There'a dark aura surrounding everything now> I used to remember i woke up years ago with that great feeling of looking forward to the day, the new expereinces life has to offer. The great confdence to take on the world the way i see it.

Neighbourhood- An intense sudden mechancholic mood has taken over me whenever i go out of my house.Somehow this neighbourhood is where i spent most of my preteen, teen days.Though things have changed in the past but the general feeling of nostalgia was there. Now it all just looks alien to me. male pattern baldness has changed my view of everything around me

Friend and relatives- Used to enjoy their company but now its different.I have began to shun them and only converse there is a really a need to.Somehow they dont look the same to me.Always have this feeling now that they seem to notice my male pattern baldness.

Old Personal belongings- Sometimes i feel the need to throw away everything associated with the past cause it just pains me too much to see the difference now.But istill keeping them.Dont ask me why. But those things which i never appreciated before has have come back to haunt me now.But i cant throw them away cause they are the only proof of my glorious past...the days of my "crowning glory".its like those things were oconsoling me and hurting me at the same time. They seem to teach an important lesson that one should not forget his past and learn and appreciate to make a better present and future..Along those lines they make t known the hard way....

Hehe.. when I read the title to this thread, for some reason I was expecting to find a Gunner story here. Something about the wording?...

Anyways, to the point at hand. I've been through that same experience you describe a few times myself. For me there was more to it than male pattern baldness, it was really a realization of the fact that I was getting old. When your own personal history starts to 'feel' like ancient history, it made me feel old.

Anyways, the last time I felt that way, I got really drunk. The following day I went down to the car dealership and bought a sports car. Well, not really a serious sports car, but an Eclipse. That took care of the symptoms for a few years...

Three timing belts and two top-engine rebuilds later I sold the Eclipse and picked up a Maxima. You know, I gots the serious job and needed the 4-door to take my superiors to lunch with, so they could pay. Now the Maxima is getting a bit old, and once again, am I feeling it too.

My suggestions are:

1. Go to the Gym, Eat Right and get Huge.
2. Shave Head
3. Quit whining!

You could have Cancer, ALS or another horrible disease.

Chewbaca began to play baseball after leaving the employ of Han Solo.

He was very good his first year. As a matter of fact, he was voted Wookie of the Year.

I've been feeling that way lately. Funnily enough I bought myself a nice new car last week, a Mazda RX-8, not quite a proper sports car but its pretty flash and it's got a 'Wankel Rotary Engine'.

This is getting a bit off topic but c'est la vie.......

By the way, I'm in a childish mood.......*** hair, tits, dog-poo sandwich.

ppossible reason why nature intended male pattern baldness

If u look at the animal kingdom , males in most species have exibitionary traits to woo the females. The better the trait, the more chances of landing a female and we humans at the top of the food chain.Nature didnt want us to dominate and drive those under us and ourselves to extinction due to our over population in numbers. So what nature did was to sneak in male pattern baldness to control human populations through controlled breeding......

It is also established that the opposite sex is attracted to a male who is 'symetrical.' This includes the placement of ears, mouth, eyes, etc.

It's genetically programmed in females to respond to a mans symetry, probably as a mating thing. (I learned this from either the Learning channel or the Discovery channel, I forget which)

As many of you know, one of the big problems with hairloss is that it sort of makes our heads look 'asymetrical,' as we lose hair in different places.

When your head is filled with hair, it is easier to make your face and your features look more symetrical, all framed by the hair. That's why when someone shaves their head, they often look better, assuming that they're symetrical to start with.

So the moral, if you look like Alfred E. Newman, you might end up being a bachelor.
