Greetings, guys. I've come across a problem. For the past 6 months I've noticed hairloss problem. My hairs started falling out. It seems to me that those have fallen have never grown again. My density became very low, but the hairline seem to be okay.
I've visited 3 different trichologists and everybody say different. I've tried different shampoos, tried different vitamins, but nothing helped me.
What I'm concerned is:
1) First of all, I'm looking towards finasteride. Do you think it's an appropriate option for my type of hairloss?
2) Do you think my condition is bad? I do want to start treatment before it's too late.
3) I've started to smoke more recently. Is there any correlation between this and my hairloss problem?
4) I've checked my DHT-level and it says it's 515. Your opinions?
5) If I take finasteride, does it matters when to take eat? I mean morning/evening.
6) Does my situation looks like it's diffusing or classic MBP?

Any opinions would be appreciated. Thank you. Pics included.

What did the three trichologists say? From first glance, I would say you're not balding because your hair part still looks thick but only you could know if it's gotten thinner unless you provide old pictures.

The first doctor said that I have a diffuse alopecia. The second said that I have a diffuse alopecia + seborrheic dermatitis. The third said that I have a diffuse alopecia + seborrheic dermatitis + androgenetic alopecia.
All of these doctors were visited +- in the same time period.

I don't know if your balding but to answer your original question, no your current situation isn't bad and it isn't too late to start finasteride.

Diffuse alopecia is Androgenetic Alopecia. 95% of all hair loss cases are Androgenetic Alopecia. Start finasteride and minoxidil to preserve your hair, or you’ll most likely continue to loose more and more locks.
