Hi all,

I just ordered some Nizoral 2% cream and still have some 1% hydrocortisone cream left.

I never tried Nizoral shampoo because my hair looks horrible after sulfate shampoos (have long, dry curly hair) and I tried hydrocortisone 1% cream and it completely halted my shedding but was a b**ch to apply because the cream was so thick.

I want to mix both together to create a topical I could use 2 or 3 times a week.

I assume I need ethanol. What else would I need and in how much should I mix them if I want a nizoral 2% and a hydrocortinsone1% solution?

Thank you!

Just received my 2% nizoral cream. Anyone know how I could make this into a 2% Nizoral liquid?

Well in case anyone is interested. I put around 3 ml of Nizoral 2% in 80 ML of distilled water. The consistency turned about to be perfect for a topical; reaches the scalp easily but not as runny as minoxidil liquid for example, just a bit more creamy. I have been applying it for 3 days and I just took a shower and I don't think I ever saw this little shedding after a day without washing it.
