I really like the shape of the base (and hairline) of my current hair stock system, it's a perfect fit. I need to make a modified template to send in for my next custom order and I'd like to make it the exact same base shape/size as my current system.
My question: can I make a new template by simply tracing round my current system to get the same shape? I wonder if anyone has tried making a template this way before? Obviously I'd be tracing round it while it's not attached to my head (but it could be pinned to a mannequin head), so getting the right head contour might be a little tricky for the template.
