Make fun of me now I guess

Go ahead and make fun of my yo-yo opinion of my hair all you want, but the thing I realized is I haven't spent much time at all here in the last month or so, and I realized that's for one reason: I'm happier with my hair now. Part of the reason I think I was so unhappy with my hair was the fact that it was so short, and I expected so much MORE from it I guess, more than I could hope to expect.

Right now I'm doing great, and more still appears to be growing in. My crown is even more amazing than ever before. Temples? Still the same, if not worse... might be using minoxidil on 'em in the next couple months... The best point is definitely after the 9 month mark though, and I'm hoping it'll only get better as I near the 1 year mark.

The other night I realized my hair was too long for the usual wax and go messiness I usually did when it was short, so I went with some spiking glue and started playing around with a bit of water and the stuff. I noticed instantly that my hair was harder to get to stand up, it was harder to see scalp, and most importantly, easier to get the look I desired: the thick-looking, no-scalp-showing, awesome-full-head-of-hair look I would have died to have 10 months ago.

Now go ahead and make fun of me. Chances are I won't even be here to read the criticism, I'll be too busy styling my hair and going out and enjoying myself. I'm more comfortable with my hair than I have been in the longest time, and the relief is overwhelming. :D

Take it easy guys, hope your regimens are working out for you, and I hope you'll all get some relief from this crap.

great to hear the good news man :p

if i may ask... what was/is your regimen and how did you deal with all the sticky and hairpulling experiences that wax brought upon your hair while styling?

thanks

lol, of course that's me in the picture guys!

Edit: To respond to the regimen, it's just 1 propecia a day, and to stop from hurting myself when styling (which really didn't occur too often with wax, consider it's not as "grippy" as spiking glue), I just style more carefully and slowly with less product each time, slowly working it up to the style I want. I just try not to force already styled hair into weird positions and such that end up hurting. It's all about technique :p
