Evening all,

was a member on hair loss help but it seems to have gone on the blink for the last few months when ive tried,

But basically ive been reading up on a few articles that high testosterone isnt directly linked to high DHT, and the predominant cause of hair loss of the fact testosterone is low, and dht/ estrogen is high

There are a few links below, I was thinking to get on some natural T Boosters maca root or indonesian tongkat

Has anyone else come across this?

Bump, link us those articles, my last blood work did show my testosterone to be on the low side, however i thought it was better to be on the low side of test, since it is associated with estrogen ...

Yes Ive heard this many times and the logic is pretty legit.

Basicly, low testosterone makes the body compensate with upping DHT - which is much more androgenic than testosterone. In other words, the body feels the loss of testosterone, so it increase its conversion to DHT to keep you not feeling like absolute sh*t with low libido, as DHT is a great mood and libido booster.

It is possible that your body may be compensating for low T by converting more to DHT. However I always thought that low testosterone was associated more with Telogen Effluvium than male pattern baldness. Of course I have heard others claim that hair is sensitive to testosterone as well.

Could be worth giving the indonesian herb a go, and seeing how it goes
