Low testosterone and hairloss..?

I am wondering if there is any relationship between low testosterone levels and hair loss?

Also, is there any relationship between finasteride's effect on the body when used by someone with low testosterone.

I'd consult with your doctor on that one, get blood tests done and find out if finasteride would still be OK

There's an association. Balding increases among older men which is associated with hypotestosteronemia (low testosterone)

It might not be appropriate to use finasteride. Just a guess.

I wouldn't know if he will, I never met him.

But I know the Hamilton-Norwood chart is wrong.

It's worth it to check out. I suspected this last year because I had most of the symptoms of low t but my blood tests came back normal. However, the doctor did tell me my iron levels were a bit low!
