Losing hair?

I've had long hair for a while now so never really noticed, but one side (my left) seems to be a little further back. My hairline has always been weird with one side higher than other and I have cowlicks too which could also be a factor.. but I thought my right was further back, not my left. Everyone in my family has good hair besides my dad who has lost a bit on his forehead in his 50s.. but nothing major. I'm 22 BTW.
