Hi guys,

totally new here. I'm losing ground on Propecia 1mg/day. I was reading a lot about dutasteride would like to try it, but have no idea where to get it. The problem is I'm from central Europe and all you can get legally is Propecia 1mg. Price does not matter much, all I care is the best quality I can get.

Thanks everyone for your time.

S.

Anyone? Is there any other solution I can do to stop receding? Maybe adding Norizol, Minoxidil?

How long have you been on propecia for? I'm 13 months in and feel like I have lost some density at this point.. I also had to take 2 involuntary breaks within this year for about a week or so, so don't know if I can attribute the loss to that or just the drug not being enough.

I'll most likely stick it out to 2 years as I don't feel comfortable getting on dutasteride at all.

Why dont u feel comfortable with dutasteride?

Mainly the fact that it blocks 5ar1 which is completely useless in terms of fighting male pattern baldness and the fact that it's found in vital organs unlike 5ar2, and the fact that I don't feel comfortable with basically 0 DHT in my body, finasteride is more mild and luckily hasn't caused me any problems, idk if this would be the case on dutasteride, actually I know it won't be the case to be completely honest

Edit: also dutasteride half life is brutal and worrisome if you were to experience brutal sides.

It's been the 7th year. But for first 5 years it worked really well, now I'm worried because my hair loss accelerated since last year. I should mention I've been doing noPoo ( no shampoo) for last 4-5 months because my scalp is really oily. And my last year was the most stressful year of my life.

I had many breaks with Propecia, even for a month or so and I think it didn't affect my hair loss much.

I've been thinking to add Dutasteride once a week to complement Propecia. If no sides and no regrowth, maybe try with 2 times/week. If that won't work, I will try Minoxidil.

I've been reading somewhere that Propecia responders shouldn't get any additional benefits using Dutasteride because DHT shouldn't be the problem in this case. Does anyone have any experiences with that?

Ive been on dutasteride for like a month now. Only thing im worried about are my bones getting affected. U think that’s a possibility at all?

I honestly wouldn't know, but I think it'd definitely be an overblown issue if it really was such an issue, considering these meds are generally demonized
