Loosing minoxidil regrowth after one month into finasteride

After 5 months on minoxidil with great results I noticed increased shedding again. Then I added finasteride, and now one month latter I am shedding even worse, but what worries me the most is that I am loosing a lot of new hairs 1.5-2.5 cm long (thay are not thin almost thick as longer hairs). That never happened to me before, so I am pretty sure it's from finasteride. Why it's happening and is it normal reaction?

finasteride could be causing a shed. It has been known to do that with some users. However, I would advise you to stick with it and trust the science. It almost certainly won't make your hair worse in the longer term. Give it at least 5 more months before you decide if it's working or not.

Thank you. Losing regrowth is realy scary. I hope it will slow down in next 2-3 months. I don't need regrowth just maintenance.
