I been taking finasteride for 4 months now and it seems like my hairloss is getting worst. I been reading different forums and hearing to stay at least 6 to 12 months to see if it work. It seems like its really speeding up the process ,before only my crown was thinning and always had a perfectly intact hairline but ever since I have taken propecia my hairline has gone down the drain and i can see my scalp . So is it possible for propecia to speed up your hairloss since you shed so much when your in a drug and if it doesnt work instead of becoming bald in 3 years it will be 2 for example. Has anybody experience this when taking finasteride and had to stop because of excessive shedding and speeding up the hairloss?

I understand how you feel man because I'm in the same situation. Trust me your not the only person whos in the same situation. Don't count too much when you shed , and I know its hard to stay positive when it comes to hairloss but I'm sure you heard this million time give it a year. I'm on month 5 myself and somedays I just want to say F@#$ finasteride and just shave off all my hair & stop taking finasteride but unfortunately were limited on the hairloss products and just try different products to see what will work for us. Hopefully they will create something new in the future with minimal side effects. Until then enjoy life because theres too many things to do other than thinking about your hair. Goodluck....
