hey everyone its been a few months since i last checked here... iit aint cuz i abandoned u all its because i havent had internet access at college but yeah im here back for the weekend with a lil update on my situation

so ive been on medication for about 8 months now... propecia daily and minoxidil daily but in recent monthjs ive had to drop propecia from my regimen due to the horrendous sex drive side effects i was getting. i have a feeling my hair situation is once again slipping (after tremendous regrowth i had previously experiencced)

i dont think propecia is really an option any more - or if it is 1ce every other day

any ideas for what i should do? the past month or so ive had such a great time barely thinking about my hair.. ive been using topikk to cover the spot at the back but i can pretty much relax. due to a terrible haircut its once again highlighted my problems :(

If you cant use Propecia for whatever reason, many people (including HairLossTalk.com) try Revivogen. Theres are some success stories regarding this treatment. Its applied topically like minoxidil, but you can use them togther (not applied at the same time though). That might be worth looking at. Theres also spironolactone, have you looked into this? Again it is a topical, with some stories of success.

Topical means a topically applied substance, which is left on the scalp(in our case) to absorb.

Sorry amrod, topically applied means you put it on your scalp. Topical treatments include Minoxidil, Revivogen, Tricomin and spironolactone. Oral (i.e. pills which are swallowed) treatments include Propecia and Dutasteride.
As a general rule of thumb, topically applied treatments have less serious side effects.

you're jumping the gun on Propecia just because of sexual side effects. Did you know that hitting the gym with wieghts and cardio exercise would get your wang going again. Find out your options before quitting..
