Long Time finasteride user would like to know when you saw results

I have been chatting to a lot of people about when they feel they got results from finasteride and I am noticing a lot of people saying it was not till way after the 1 year mark, a lot of people are saying they did not see real results until around 1 year and 4-6 months.

I am asking because they say after a year if you do not see results you should quit finasteride but my dermatogens introduced me to a guy that is on finasteride that really did not see results till almost the 2 year mark.

Just wondering if long time finasteride user could list how long it was till they noticed results.

just about 7 months on finasteride for me right now ... no results yet

Yes but i am greedy I wants more, more i tells ya.

i was very supprised at the amount of people telling me it took longer then a year. manly do to the fact that after 1 year they tell you to stop finasteride if u see no results. People may be quiting to ealry.

And so far dutasteride scares me :freaked:

I have been chatting to a lot of people about when they feel they got results from finasteride ....

The first time I used finasteride back in the late 90s, I was taking 1.25 mg 4 of 5 days - or the equivilent of 1mg daily.

By the 8 month mark, my bald spot (crown) had filled in nicely. still thin along the vertex but basically in 8 months I'd gone from a NW4 to a 3.

You hear some people remark that they see great results in 3-5 months.

I think the 1 year mark seems to be the norm though for most people to see improvements.
