Nope. Just affects how thin your hair looks. Longer hair looks much thinner than shorter hair.

I try to sport long hair but it's much hard to maintain because of the hair loss. I can grow my hair long and people dont know I'm lossing my hair. But I'm only at a 1.5 norwood but I do have fine hair too.
