... well maybe not but what do you think about this:
Long hair needs a lot more nutrients and other "resources" to maintain than short hair.
Since it requires so much, is it possible that your body starts compensating by slowing down or halting hair growth in other areas in order to allocate more energy to your long hair?
This sounds like that old saying - if you cut it short, it will grow back thicker.
^ Is it possible that there is some truth to it?
Short hair certainly takes a lesser toll on your body so with all that remaining energy, the new hair should grow back thicker... :dunno:
