Little white things in my hair

I ve been using minoxidil for 2 weeks now and the last 3-4 days i ve noticed there are some white things in my hair like ashes...or better like the things you have when you wake up and last night you had your hair styled with gel...
Is there any chance this is caused from minoxidil? I have to admit I use much more than 1 ml per application not because i am crazy but because part of the liquid just wets my hair. (and i am preety sure its wasted there)
Anyone had some similar experience?

I have the same thing. Started just after i began minoxidil. I think its just flaking skin. Its gross, but i don't think its anything to be worried about.

Yes, are you using the liquid? I've used minoxidil for 4 years and never fully got rid of them until I switched to the foam.

i think its caused by the ppg in the minoxidil but im not sure.

Some people even think it might be dandruff.

I think it’s some kind of residue from the formula that sticks to your hair.
