I started 5% Rogaine liquid after noticing a bit of thinning a few weeks ago, but I'm having a hard time with the application.
I have pretty strange hair for a Texas bred white guy. I have pretty kinky hair and this makes the application a bit hard. So far I've been putting it on after a shower and squirting it in the general location using my fingers to massage it into the scalp. Afterwards I have a greasy mess all over the area. I thought about the foam, but its cost prohibited at this point.
1. Is the liquid making it to the scalp?
2. The greasyness will still be there 2 hours after the application. I'm sure its getting on my pillow at night. After 1-2 hours is it safe to do this even if some of it is getting on my pillow or is the Rogaine itself dried but the harmless grease remain?
