Link between DHT blocking and Premature Aging

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone knows if blocking DHT would cause premature aging.

Some of the known side effects of DHT blockers like finastride are low energy, low libido, etc. etc. If you're feeling down in this manner, could this actually affect your appearance making you look older? If yes, do you think this effect is reversible by stopping finasteride?

Since starting on finasteride about 8 months ago, I've been experiencing the known sides but not to the extent to quit just yet since I want to ride it out for at least the year.

I'm 29, Norwood like 2? or 2.5? I've been losing ground at the hairline since starting. I also use Keto shampoo 2% every other day. Supplements for general good health.

Thank you very much for any help with this question.

I mean if it has that much of an effect on you then maybe. Look how our personalities are reflected on our face. You can tell if someone is an anxious person, a funny person, a sad person, etc all by the lines on their face. Like your mamma said, "If you keep making that face its gonna get stuck like that!" So if you are so lethargic where your eyes are always drooping and all that, then ya you might tend to form an older more tired and stressed appearance. Your 29 so get over it. finasteride also increases your testosterone so hit the gym and get in shape and eat right to boost your energy levels naturally. I haven't had to deal with the lethargy, so its not a problem for me, but that is what I would do. I'll just saw the effects of premature aging from finasteride (if that is even a thing) will be much less than minoxidil (Rogaine) which causes bags under your eyes and very porous skin.
