I was looking at the crown of my 14 year old brother and it is a typical crown of any boy. Thick and minimal scalp showing. I took a picture of his scalp and fuuuuuraaaaak this is really really not what I see using my eyes. If I saw the photo of this scalp without knowing it belongs to my 14 year old bro I would say he needs to start finasteride but in reality he has a perfect crown .

So what you see in your crown pictures is much worse situation than your reality.

*Basically I am trying to cope hard with my disgusting crown photos I took yesterday

Noticed the EXACT same thing with my big brother. Never took a picture, but everyone says we have the exact same cowlick. Pictures show you what you wanna see, so if you wanna see that you’re balding, you’ll find a way

No not really. The picture is really different to what I see in reality. I think the camera augments both the light and dark areas; the light area get lighter and the dark area gets darker which leads to a huge contrast between the 2 areas giving the illusion of worse balding
