Libido Definitely Lowered On Generic finasteride 12 Days In. Is This Bad?

Started generic finasteride the beginning of this month. I've been failing to achieve consistent no fap for months (years even), though on and off that has been one of my goals. For the past 12 days, no fap has been extremely easy. I had one or two lapses last week, but other than that, its become increasingly easier to resist the urge. The last 5 days I have had no overwhelming urges - not to the point of giving in atleast.

I can still perform sexually if I wanted to and have no problem getting aroused. I'm just not as horny all the time as I had been prior since puberty pretty much.

I'm wondering is it a bad thing that my libido has lowered? Was I just abnormally horny before, and now I'm functioning as a normal person should? Like I said, I have no problem getting aroused if need be. I'm just not horny all the time for no reason. I'm also 24 years old.

I'm only 12 days in, so assuming things stay this way it doesn't seem too bad. I just want to know if its normal to have this level of libido where I'm not aroused constantly for no reason. Because before generic finasteride, that was pretty much normal to me.

yes its normal and its something you will have to get used to if you want to keep your hair.

its bad depending on how you see it. i think its good because i dont fap as much and dont get spontaneous erections when im around girls.

I see the positive sides of not being horny all the time , but the thing is I'm not just taking finasteride to maintain. I'm hoping I can regain lost ground and get to near a normal hairline again with finasteride, dermarolling, and a couple other things. There's pros but I'm just hoping it's not having actual negative effects on my physiology as well as lowering my libido too
