"After one to three years of treatment, the average patient will recruit all the
follicles he is going to recruit. If he discontinues all treatment, he will of
course lose all the gains he has made. On the other hand, since he has recruited
all the follicles he is going to with the program he has been on, he should be
able to maintain his present growth with a single 1 mL dose of 5% Xandrox
daily. That is what I do to maintain my growth. However, using a high
concentration topical Xandrox15 ensures the best results. Some patients will
be able to maintain the hair on the scalp with continued treatment, but most
patients will gradually see some thinning again. Patients who stay on treatment
with topical Xandrox definitely do much better than untreated patients, but the
positive results will decline over time."

I GOT this letter from dr lee notice how he says "SOME paitents will be able to maintain the hair on their scalp while MOST will see some gradual thinning???

BY some paitencts will be able to maintain I am assuming he means maintain for life type thing??? But most wont be able to maintain for life and will start to gradually lose again!

WHen do most start to see thinning again when on the big 3? I heard its really rare to see any more thinning before the 5 year mark?

Xandrox will not stop your balding. The minoxidil in it will simply add more hair. Most people on here agree that the other ingredient in the Xandrox, azelaic acid, is worthless at hair regrowth or maintenance.

You should just buy generic minoxidil for cheaper or use the new Rogaine foam, and combine it with Propecia.

i think he means what you think he does. that some will be able to maintain their hair indefinitely, while some will gradually lose it after a few years, although not as fast as they would have without treatment.

It refers to the average patient. It is very general. This should be used in conjunction with finasteride or avodart and nizoral to combat male pattern baldness. The reason being is b/c male pattern baldness is a progressive disease and the average person with it will continue to lose over time. Only your proactive participation and time will tell how you respond. I personally believe minoxidil is dose dependent over time. I know that my body has accommodated to the 2% after yrs of use. I have been on the xandrox 5% in the am and 15 % at night for only 1 month now and its starting to stabilize.
