Can propecia stop hairloss in 2 weeks?

Also can the first shedding start in the 5th week?

Did the post in this section, because people don't seem to read too much the propecia section.

Propecia starts working from day one lowering DHT levels. I was on Propecia for 15 months but had to stop due to sides. It took a few weeks to a month untill I noticed any improvment. I just was lossing less at that time.

well, I started this thread because my hairloss totally stopped after the first week I was on Propecia. I could not believe it.

But unfortunately I started losing lots and lots of hair again when I started my second box of propecia (5th week)

I'm losing more hair now than when I was not using any meds.

So is this the so called "shedding"???

Generally anything that you experience with your hair is the result of what you did several months, even 6 months, before.. 2 weeks is nothing and if you are shedding less, its more then likely nothing. I wouldnt read much into it.

thanks for that one ShedMaster, So I guess it was just luck, that my hairloss completely stopped for 3 weeks and then resumed.

2 weeks of shedding followed by 3 weeks of thickening and then resuming shedding all in the 1st month of starting propecia sounds perfectly normal to me.
