Hi everyone.
I'm 18 and recently I noticed an M-shape in my hairline. A few days ago I went for a buzz cut and this is what I got.
male pattern baldness runs in my family but I'd say 2/3 of my male relatives are not receding.
With medium length hair(the kind I had before) vertex recession was 100% unnoticeable, but frontal hairline recession was kinda visible if wind blew towards me(lol), but still I looked OK.

I've been using minoxidil 5% for 2 days now.
What do I do next? Please help me this have been driving me CRAZY. :(

the second pic looks a bit concerning. looks like you are using flash on first and second pic? the first and third look ok tho.

are large amounts of hair coming out? ie: when you wash you hair?
Look OK? Hmm, they look terryfying to me..:(
I can't really tell because my hair is very short right now. I recall the longer hair days and it seems like male pattern baldness started a while ago because I never noticed any extreme thinning.

Is there any shedding? Have you been to a dermatologist? If it really is male pattern baldness, there aren't many options: finasteride, nizoral and minoxidil and a few years from now you'll still be looking like Stalin.

Not really a lot of shed, I guess it's normal shed. I know have a buzzcut though so I don't have much of hair at all:love:
Yea, lol. Stalin had great hair.
I guess there aren't indeed besides the 3.
