Length of time before minoxidil effects wear off

I am considering a hair transplant. After the surgery, I don't want to be on the Rogaine foam I am using now.

Going into the operation, I'd like the surgeon to know what my head will look like after the hairs remaining from minoxidil have fallen out. I'm wondering, how long will it take before all the hair saved by minoxidil are gone? I'd like the gap between minoxidil and hair transplant to be as small as possible.

Typically if you stop using Minoxidil the majority if not all hairs that were Dependant on it would of fallen out in 3 months which is backed by clinical research.
