I ordered a custom hair system for first time, I used Lavivid. I received it today.
It took 11 weeks and 6 days exactly (83 days) to arrive from the day I ordered it. This is really quite good from what I am seeing from other companies these days, so I am happy with the delivery time.
They tell you 6-8 weeks for production and 7-10 days for delivery. There was a one week delay in finishing the unit toward the end of production, but customer service was helpful in communicating this information to me through email when I contacted them.
I know there are also several factors that influence these delivery and completion times like the type of system and density modifications etc and mine fell around the holidays, so may have come sooner had it been different time of year. They are filling more orders around Christmas and have a lot of Christmas sales and promotions so busier.
Just thought I'd post this to give an idea of realistic timeline you would be looking at when ordering custom unit from Lavivid, in case any guys were considering them as an option.
