When will the trials, regarding hair growth (or regrowth), be totally completed?

When will the FDA make their decision about approving it (or not) as a clinically proven stimulant for hair growth (or regrowth)?

btw, wise and knowledgeable veteran posters, what are your expectations about it? Big, small, average?

According to the hair transplant Doctor I went to see this past Friday, Dr. Alan Bauman in Boca Raton, Fl, the phase III trials are already done. The studies were documented in the Journal for Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dermatology. I believe that is the name of the Journal.
Anyway, he is certain that it will be FDA approved as a hair loss treatment. Then again, he also sells it.

Actually the fda does not have the latitude to "take years" to make a decison on stage 3 trials. They have to rule within a certain period ( I think it is 90 days.).

They CAN ask for more data, more trials, more analysis or flat turn them down!

Word. Its time for a definitive verdict. It would be good to know that my $550 investment is infact the third treatment to be approved by the FDA for hairloss.

And people, please dont ask me if it works. I'm on finasteride and Min, so how am I supposed to know?

I'm sure you guys know more about it than me. I'm just telling what official hairmax representatives say on their official forum. I've seen this exact question come up a couple times there and it was answered by the hairmax reps, and they said possibly years. It sounds fishy to me I know.

I wonder if the posters on this site are aware that central health authorities in jurisdictions including Canada and Singapore have already approved the Laser Comb as a HAIR REGROWTH product.

Perhaps these non-US agencies are not as reliable as the FDA (or maybe more so), but that was enough to persuade me that the investment is worthwhile.

By the way, the price for one approaches US$700 including international shipping and handling for non-US residents such as myself. The only problem I have with it is that it takes about 15 minutes each time you use it, versus a couple of seconds with the the oral / topical treatments. Anyway I'm using it in tandem with the other primary hair regrowth products (5% Rogaine, Proscar, etc).

Hei Lung, i never knew that. I live in Canada i'm surprised i didnt hear of the news. Do you know how comprehensive the tests are to determine whether or not its a hair growth stimulant? If it wasn't soo expensive i'd dish out the money right now, but $700 U.S is just a little too steep for my pockets right now.

Yip, that's why I bought mine. That and the fact that they had the balls to send it through the fda trials as well.
