L-Arginine

After working out today, I went over to the health store next door to the gym. I got a nice healthy meal, and shopped around a bit. I found some L-Arginine, and I've always wanted to try it to supplement my workout. In addition, when I used to take Propecia, I had problems getting it extra hard.

I'm on Dutasteride right now, and I don't really have any problems with getting about 80% hard, but I still want that extra boost that I used to have.

My question is:

Does L-Arginine screw with your hormone levels in such a way as to affect hair loss?

Also, is there a specific amount I should be taking to compliment my workout regime and libido?

Thank you all for your time.
