Wow you revived a lot of very old threads. I know it sucks not getting an answer immediately, but if you start your own thread and bump it occasionally you should get a response eventually.

When you ask if foam would do better, do you want to know whether it's more effective in regrowing hair? While there is much room for debate, the research I've done has indicated that liquid better in terms of absorption, especially for people with longer hair. Aesthetically, foam is superior IMO (hair doesn't look greasy).

Both Kirkland and Rogaine have the same active ingredient, so both should be equally effective. From my personal use, Rogaine is better cosmetically. However, if you don't want to pay the premium for Rogaine, Kirkland will be just as effective.

hi badgenetics,

yes i wish to know what grows hair better. yes i have long hair , i have heard liquid absorbs more which may contribute to more hair regrowth. i am starting to suspect the liquid has reached its maximum as it is 5 months so i thought probably foam would regrow those which has not grown..

i presume you are using rogaine foam? why don't you use kirkland foam since you say both are effective?

oh why do i want to switch to kirkland? because i feel kirkland may help regrow those not grown out hair.

please advice.

thank you very much

I actually switched to Kirkland a couple of days ago, I couldn't justify staying with Rogaine due to the price difference.

Most people don't get maximum results until the 6-12 month mark, so you still could have more positive results. As for switching to foam, I doubt it'll make a difference. It might be harder to apply due to the length of your hair, but that's about it.
