Hi everyone, I want to talk about Ketoconazole. I'm pretty sure a lot of you here are aware of what that is, it's usually part of "The Big Three" in hair loss treatments. It's an anti-fungal medication with mild anti-androgenic properties. What I specifically want to talk about is using it daily. It seems that a lot of people who have a Ketoconazole shampoo in their regimen tend to use it once or twice a week maximum. I know that some people can't tolerate putting Ketoconazole everyday on their scalp cause it is a bit of a harsh ingredient. However, if you're able to tolerate just fine putting Ketoconazole on your scalp everyday, wouldn't it make sense to do so to disrupt androgen activity everyday?
I use a Ketoconazole shampoo daily, and have had desirable results. Does anyone here use a Ketoconazole shampoo daily as part of their regimen and have had good results? Or, if you use it once or twice weekly, how's that been for you?
