Keotconzole 2% cream

a few weeks back someone was asking why ketoconazole didn't come in a cream (might have been bismarck?) as it's anti-androgen properties might not be best served by a shampoo, well I just happened to chance across this ketoconozole 2% cream.

systemic absorption profile seems good?

After a single topical application to the chest, back and arms of normal volunteers, systemic absorption of ketoconazole was not detected at the 5 ng/ml level in blood over a 72-hour period.

I suppose the advantage of using ketoconazole poo would be that you could get the benefits without adding another topical to your regimen.

But I wonder if applying the cream daily would be more effective.

when is some bastard going to make us all a topical with minoxidil / ketoconazole / folligen / spironolactone and so on all in a single cream!!!!!!


If this ketoconazole turns out to have it's advantages over the poo, it would be madness to add another topical on top off all the stuff we have to stick on our heads, I already look like an ice cream when I go out these days.
