Just turned 20 and want some feedback on how serious my hairline situation is

Grush, it feels like a big step to begin finasteride at first, but after a while you realize that the fear of finasteride is the biggest problem. Talk to a dermatologist. They prescribe it all the time and have a realistic view regarding the number of people with side effects. Mine was really reassuring, and I'm happy he was.

Glad u brought up LDL and HDL, anavar ****s ur LDL and HDL for example it can lower your HDL by like up to 50% and make ur LDL like 30% higher im not sure and that is why none takes it for longer than 4-6 weeks and if u keep a good diet theres not much to worry about..

I do blood tests before, during and after usage and keeping the right diet will keep ur numbers almost normal..

Well different steroids will have different effects on ur body.. I have never heard or seen anyone with those problems from steroids.. That is bull****, there hasnt even been any studies on it.. What u just said are possible side effects that could happen but are as rare are getting permanent ED from finasteride, or even rarer..

Steroids kill less people yearly than alchool, less than cigarretws, less than car accidents, less than shark attacks, less than dog attacks.. Thats how dangerous steroids are.. I already said and i will say it again cuz u never read: THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MEDICATION AND POISON IS THE DOSAGE.. YOU CANNOT COMPARE A BODYBUILDER THAT TAKES LITERALLY 20 TIMES MORE STEROIDS THAN A NORMAL/AMAUTER.. IT WOULD BE THE SAME AS COMPARING A NORMAL FINASTERIDE USER TO SOMEONE WHO TAKES 50 MG OF FINASTERIDE DAILY FOR YEARS...

Finasteride indeed doesnt have chances of killing people and is probably less life threatning long term if comparer to steroids but IMO the side effects from finasteride are far worse than steroids side effects and dont list side effects of steroids.. I have been using for many many years and havent had any sides except a bit of acne that went away fast..

I test my heart with many exams every year and in 5 years using steroids in a row there hasnt been any change, still healthy.. Funny right?

Steroids are not illegal as they are meds..

A normal/amauter steroid user usually does around 2 cycles of steroids with around 500mg up to 1.5 grams of different steroids for about 2-4 months and stop.

Bodybuilders take around 15 grams of steroids + 30-40 UI of HGH + Insulin + T3 + IGF1 + other ****.. The least dangerous thing here are the steroids trust me please dont try to argue with experienced people about subjedts u dont know broz.. Im trying to be a friend here cuz u just sound retarded..

Anywsys usually when some bodybuilder dies it isnt cus ot the dteroids but the other stuff they take but the media often blames on the steroids..

For example on the most famous show of brasil they showed localized oil application ( that is NOT a steroid, merely increases size cuz ur injecting oil) are steroids and is very dangerous..

Yes I agree the OP is in the early stages on male pattern baldness, but it's far too early to judge if it's aggressive or not.

To shave my head or risk taking finasteride haha that's the big question. Thanks for the responses people. As for the whole aggressively attacking my head thing, literally everyone i've talked to about this has thought I was insane for even thinking I was receding haha, you could really only tell if my hair was wet and you look closely like in the pictures I posted.

Studies say all you need to know. The % of users with side effects is barely and I mean barely higher than the test group with placebo's. I have been on finasteride for about 4 weeks and have experienced 0 sides. I have two theories behind the side effect stuff.

1.) ED is a real thing, and people do have it. Often times, the age in which one might begin balding may correspond with the age ED becomes more prevalent which results in illusory correlation.
2.) Getting an erection is in large part a MENTAL thing. While some drugs have sides that can be seen we don't question whether or not we have the sides because we know with certainty if we get them we will see them. With finasteride we have a unnecessary fear IMO stimulated by the fact that there is the fear of the unknown. That fear IMO triggers the mental sides. In studies patients arent told what sides they may experience, so they had no fear. FEAR.

Or monitor the situation closely, if you think you will go beyond a Norwood 2, then seek treatment.
