Lol, I started on .5mg finasteride the same day as you. So far no sides (except ball ache the first two days).

Dont worry about it, there really is nothing to be scared of. Just be consistent with taking it and wait at least a year before assessing its effectiveness.

UPDATE:

I have now been on Propecia for 16 days with 0.5MG/day.
Yesterday I noticed that my erection is getting weak. My libido seems okay, but I just can't get "rock hard" like I could a week ago. I also have very watery semen. It almost looks like piss.
This is very discouraging for me. I don't know if I should go on and pray that it goes away, or if I should call it a day and accept that I am getting sexual sides from finasteride. It's not in my head, though. I never even thought about these sides until I got them.
The only thing going for me is that my libido is still fine, at least.

I came back to Finpecia after 10 years , this time I use 0.5 mg and I have started it yesterday ( although I got 1mg at first day because I didn't have any pills splitter , lol ) But I will give you guys update about that and I think we should be fine with that dosage , and even some people says you can get that EOD ( every other day ) , With whole respect I don't believe it works that way , since I've noticed everything in body need to ADJUST and DHT level is not something that you can recall it every other day or once in a week , you have to decrease that amount from your body , In addition I do not believe in people who thinks that they can use minoxidil once in a day ! it doesn't work that way as well. you have to use it twice a day because it has a half-life and you need to adjust your body
with that every 12 hours , I believe that 0.5mg is work very close to 1mg from the study and graphs which I have seen but I think we need to use it daily . Good luck with your regimen
