Feel a bit nervous about it to be honest. I'm about a NW3 - receding at the front and starting to thin on the crown. I'm thinking of starting by halving the daily dose (from 1mg - .5mg) to see how I get on.
Used minoxidil about 5 years ago for a year and then stopped for some reason. Started this again a few weeks ago, along with Nizoral 2% which you can buy OTC here in the UK.
I Take some good quality Vits & minerals - along with a Saw Palmetto supplement.
I'll let you know how I get on.
