Recently I have been wondering what is the point to all this effort and money. Since by all accounts we are 50+ years away from a 'cure' for male pattern baldness and from what i can gather current 'treatments' can only help maintain or offer minimal re-growth why spend all this money and time for next to nothing if it works at all.

Feeling a little lost really and wondering why not just accept the fact that I am genetically programmed to go steadily bald!

Yeah, after trying finasteride and minoxidil I'm ready to go bald. I don't feel the need to spend any more money trying to keep the little hair I have left. Nothing seems to work for me anyways.

I'm very happy with the meds and shampoos. I regrew hair without doubt and clearly is thicker and the skin is healthier.
If i was in the 80's i would be screwd. There was no finasteride, hairloss was a mistery and there was no information available so easily.
How would i know spironolactone was an anti-androgenetic pill? No clue at all.

Doctors dont have a bloody clue why we go bald. Yes they know its because of DHT but they have no idea why our follicles are sensetive to it in the first place. This question will have to be answered if we are to cure hairloss.

OP dont give up! Besides you can always op for a hair transplant if all else fails and put ur trust in hair cloning :)
