Just got my Proscar...

from Planetdrugstore.com. It came within 2 weeks and everything seems legit. No more paying 60 bucks a month for propecia from my doctor. I do have one question....are proscar tablets white circles? I thought they always looked different?

Hmmm, are they made by merck? They may've changed them (I haven't had brand name proscar in yrs), but they used to be blue, triangular pills.

I've been using Fincar, made in India by Cipla. The Fincar 5mgs are white circles. Maybe email planetdrugstore.com if you have questions/doubts about their product.

They have three different options for Finasteride on their site, brandname Proscar (in packs of 30 or 90) and Merck generic Finasteride (packs of 90), the latter being the cheapest per tablet. Which did you buy?

I got mine from planetdrugstore at the end of december and there are from brazil, and they are not white but blue sheld shape mine are Merck
did you get generic?

I brought 30 pills for like 63 bucks to my door. The box has Merck written on it and the 2 packs of 15 tablets have Merck written over the foiling on the back side of the tablet casing. I did not buy the generic stuff. Everything seems legit as far as box, wrappings etc. except the pills are white and I always thought they were different. Hmmm.

that sounds dodgy, i have never seen white proscar, as far as i know it should be white, i would email merck maybe they have changed the colour for some reason
also you could put up another post here asking if anyone has got white proscar

did you open it up yet? They shouldn't be white circles...but the non-foil side of the strips are white circles. The pills inside are not.

My merck proscar is blue with triangular shape like this:

Crayola is the MAN....I did open the foil and sure enough its the proscar we have all grown to love. I guess I didnt take a good enough look at them yet because I didnt need them. It's foil one side and white plastic covers on the other which look like white pills. For the record...I feel pretty damm stupid, but at least I did not get screwed. :lol:
