Just studying for my dental school ortho course and came across a lot of slides that reminded me of the theory about high tension/pressure in the skin of the scalp.
When I was studying on how teeth are moved and how the pressure forces affect the cells that are being made on which side of the teeth is getting what pressure it really made me stop and think about if this theory actually holds any water. I think it does based on the science of moving teeth, it would definitely have to apply to other areas/tissues of the body as well. I still would have no idea how starting puberty/testosterone/DHT release and taking finasteride/DHT supression would work into this. Other than maybe it changes the prostaglandins axis in the body to a more favorable direction for hair growth.
Anyways, just wanted to start some discussion. Here's the slide I was looking at.
Be nice now boys.
