I am going to stop reading this Forum and want to leave some interesting information about Japanese Dutasteride.
Dutasteride (デュタステリド) was approved for hair loss treatment in Japan on September 28th 2015 at 0.1mg and 0.5mg. After a delay due production issues GSK started releasing the drug in both dosages under the name of Zagallo (ザガーロ).
The medicine is marketed as able to regrow hair, while Finasteride accordingly, would be mainly to slow down the loss of hair. They report it as a successful alternative for people who failed on finasteride. They do note that the strongest solution is not always the best and decisions should be made with regards to factors like side effects. To determine type and dosage every case should be reviewed individually with a doctor and no general recommendations seem to be given. The patient seems to have influence on the decision.
As for Dutasteride GSK somewhat hints to start with 0.1 but as the side % are about the same for both dosages, in the real world people will most likely opt for 0.5. For example Finasteride "should" be started at .2mg and upped accordingly, but in reality the loads of users i found on Japanese style message-boards where all on 1mg anyways.
