you read the propecia 2yr trial results, and they say 3.8% of people reported some form of sexual side effect, while in the placebo group 2% did. then they say that most of those in the finasteride group reported that the side effects disappeared later on. so 3.8% minus 2 % minus "most of them", would mean that around .05% of people had actual long lasting chemically induced side effects. so i'm led to believe that if noone on these forums went on and on about how their dick turned green, suddenly developed a corksrew or just fell off, then far less of you people would be experiencing side effects. this topic has probably been touched on many times so i apologise for that, but i think sometimes these things need to be restated.

nb/ been on dutasteride then finasteride for a collective 2 years and no sexual side effects whatsoever after the up and down of the first month.

and well done to hair transplant for putting an info section up about hairloss in children. if we think its bad losing our hair early to mid twenties imagine how it would feel at 7.

hi,sam..there are some other side effects..not only sexual..i know you are right but i dislike drugs and avoid using them..and i also read smt about propecia effects for young people's grow progress(do u have any idea about this?)..and i m not sure propecia long period usage..if i describe propecia as"a new drug",am i right?..i know many years.but i think it need more research..i have questions on it..some drugs' side effects are seen too later..i know some drugs(no related hairloss)..they are used..later science develop very dangerous side effects for a (life) long period..for some organs, body functions..i mean..you take it..u are alive..so can u say "is it safe enough?"..i don t know..i m a little apprehensive..:)..so i m afraid of it..
